Ah, my very first post, and it’s to issue a correction: I’ve had several nice pre-publication reviews, but some of them have referred to me as a writer for The Daily Show. For the record, I was a field producer, a member of the team that crafted segments like this: A Round of Shots and this: Grand Heft Auto.

Michael Rubens is a television writer and producer whose credits include CNN, the Travel Channel, Oxygen, and Comedy Central’s The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, where he was a field producer. The Sheriff of Yrnameer is his first novel. He lives in Brooklyn, New York, to help alleviate that area's critical shortage of writers and producers.
