So I had my big interview today with Liane Hansen for NPR’s Sunday Weekend Edition, and it was a joy to speak with her. She was funny, warm, encouraging, knowledgable, Â engaged and engaging, all while dealing with a blithering idiot on the other end of the line. I’m hoping that I said something that can be edited into a semi-coherent segment.

Michael Rubens is a television writer and producer whose credits include CNN, the Travel Channel, Oxygen, and Comedy Central’s The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, where he was a field producer. The Sheriff of Yrnameer is his first novel. He lives in Brooklyn, New York, to help alleviate that area's critical shortage of writers and producers.
